The Importance of Strength Training
A.J. May has broken a number of records in his career, including miles and distance travelled. He is so strong that when he went up to do sport specific training it was easier because he had the physical capacity to do it. The same can be said for other fighters who don't have as much strength but are just as good at getting out of awkward positions. "We're trying to get them strong everywhere," says coach Mark Mayor.
