Product Leaders - What Should Be an Ideal Number?
In terms of what should be an ideal number there's no specific number as you can call out. The whole idea of personas is to find these equivalence classes or archetypical users who represent a broader set of users so I think a small number four to five is a good place to give you a sense of how you would shape your product offering. So yeah going wide initially does help and then narrowing down based on themes or based on groupings that we get that could help in creation of these personas typically it could be about three to five.
