Theory of moral realism is the idea that intrinsic goodness is an experiential property. When you feel pleasure or other positive states like happiness, what you're experiencing is the qualitative property of intrinsic goodness. Egoism refers to the attitude that only yourself matters and would give no intrinsic value to the wellbeing of other beings. So I talk a lot in the book about the feeling of ought to be-ness.
