"I don't think it would work even for trad authors. We are such a, like you said, we're already kind of gig economy contractors," she says. "There is the whole AI issue, which I think is a tricky one because the WAGA wants to say, you know, using AI to replace writers." She adds that while this is a strike that has been forced, pretty much everyone in the industry wants it at every level.
