In 2009, Sweet Green was doing less than $1,000 a day in sales. They decided to start playing music at the front of their stores and turn it into a block party. By 2010, they'd had 25,000 people headlining by Kendrick Lamar at Maryweather Post Pavilion. The idea is that you can bring these things together and create a movement around healthy living. It's like eating quinoa while watching Kendrick Lamar on TV.
