Have you always been comfortable with being kind of the odd man out? Or in other words fighting against or sitting outside these societal forces? I grew up in a deeply religious community where the social structure rewarded one for adherence to the principles. And so that's how I grew up is here's the rule set. The person who plays by the rules or they appear to be playing by the rules are very best. They win the most status in that community and it was when I broke from that community that I became aware of how to identify systems in society, deconstruct them and see the powers at play.
