Clearbit to Bear Metrics - What's the One Data Problem That All of These Businesses Have?

Clearbit is an email-to-demographic data API. The company was founded by former Stripe executive John Defterios, who went on to co-found Salesforce and start its own bank. Clearbit launched in September of last year after three months building the product from a prototype. It's now valued at more than $1 billion.
