The Importance of French in Canada
There is a lot of sensitivity around this issue because, you know, french has been in decline since the 19 seventies. The amount of feedback that i received was actually overwhelming. So any one who has any doubts about the fact that francophones in this country are sometimes treated as second class citizens, i would invite you to take a peek at my in box. At what point did we become a country where itbecame acceptable to be incurious about other canadians? When did we decide that unofrancophones should learn english, and i don't have any obligation to learn french?"
