FTP vs Critical Power
FTP and time to exhaustion is a more useful delineation than critical power. We can see that exact inflection point where above it somebody starts fatiguing faster and below it somebody fatigues slower. Critical power one of the advantages is that you can see proximate work rate over threshold. If someone's fairly stable in their fitness you can actually predict okay, I'm not going to be creating as much demand because of the fatigue that you generate.
