Homeschooling was absolutely critical because public schools interfered with parental authority. Many within this movement didn't want their daughters to go on to college. Patrick Henry College seeks to produce new leaders who, like the founding fathers, are trained in the traditions of freedom.

A group of evangelical Christians raised their children to become influential in the White House, on Capitol Hill, and in the Supreme Court. Now, as adults, the "Joshua generation" are reckoning with their upbringing.
