What's the Difference Between Source and Auction?

In the last 10 years, about a third of your deals have been source proprietary and two thirds forced through intermediaries. You're always better off the pricing, but the less likely it is to be proprietary. In our space, currently with building products, we have the advantage of most seller being quite approachable. A lot of these businesses are very customer friendly.
