The Effect of Unilateral Training on Bilateral Outcomes

Bilateral training appears to be more effective than unilateral training at improving bilateral patterns, bilateral strength, bilateral jumping, bilateral power output. Training bilaterally almost exclusively does not really help you with unilateral outcomes. Unilateral resistance training appears to improve unilateral outcomes. Bilateral training improves bilateral outcomes. Minimal effect when crossing over, that is to say that training unilaterally does not really seem to train bilateral outcomes and vice versa.
