Our brain can will us to do things that we couldn't possibly imagine. When some one points out that you're trafficking in placibos, why does it hurt your feelings? If in 30 dollar wine glasses makes your wine taste better, what's wrong with that? So when the wizard gave the scarecrow a diploma, did it make the scarecrow smarter? And yes, it was shown in a double blind study that when you wrap the glasses up in wood and duck tape, even the best wine somilers in the world can't tell them apart.
