Introduction

The mirror analogy describes our experience of life, the universe and everything. We think of ourselves as seeing the real world, but what are we actually experiencing? Nothing, except crude sensory inputs through a biochemical nervous system which feeds into a central processing unit where it undergoes some sort of interpretation that translates into an artificial construction. The face you see in the mirror is not actually your face looking back at you. This is true of everything we experience in this world. We are far removed from reality.
