The Problem With Romanticism in Contemporary Art

Would you say romanticism is a strain in contemporary art that is common to lots of artists working? Now, if we think of another reading of romanticism that does not take pain out of the beautiful, if it doesn't separate the sublime from the beautiful. You know, we can't help it. That's great. Although i would say the problem with romanticism as a terminology might be that it will really take us essentially back to a very particular history of thought which we don't want to emphasize.
