The Importance of Demographics in the Trail Running Industry

The demographics of trail runners are surprisingly similar to golf, which might be counterintuitive to a lot of our listeners here. So we actually have a very small population of young children, there's not that many in like the below 25 age bracket. And so what all I did really was took that kind of general audience and applied it to a kind of normal demographics of other sports. It opens much broader conversations, but it also kind of opens other kind of avenues towards. Why is that? The study itself was done by a call, Carlos and Lancaster. They just did a very large quantitative survey of US and UK fell trail on ultra runners.
