Meditation - It's Transcendental Meditation
I learned to meditate right out of college in 1971, influenced by a friend of mine who had started and I noticed some subtle but positive impacts. From literally from age 25 on it became a deliberate practice twice a day 20 to 30 minutes. The main the main manifestation is not only stress relief but clarity of thinking. If we can teach kids how to quiet the mind, at least from time to time, there's a quiet space from which you can both synthesize and deepen your learning. And also as the wellspring for new ideas to pop up, I think there's great potential there. It's an untapped frontier.
