Does Plant-Based Protein Help With Insulin Resistance?

If you're going to take a large number of grams of protein in a shake, especially in the evening, I think it's a very reasonable time to utilize plant-based protein. From an athletic performance standpoint, yes, it might be slightly better, at least acutely over a period of six weeks. But that response will likely diminish as time goes on. And it's probably not worth the potential deleterious health outcomes.
