The Buddha's Fire Sermon

Buddha was addressing a thousand monks who had been fire-worshiping ascetics. The Buddha used their own experience as the metaphor for his teaching. So this is what the Buddha says: Bikus, all is burning. And whatever feeling arises with eye contact, whether pleasant or painful or neutral, that too is burning.
