The Drawbacks of Building Code in Public
Rails dev is the whole code base is open source only that are secret. So if I am writing proprietary information or proprietary algorithm, it's going to be on GitHub in a few hours anyway. A lot of what I do on Rails devs is public. All my metrics are public through Fathom. But there are definitely things that I don't keep on those that I do like to keep quiet.
