Pung Ming Ming - A History of the KMT

As a 22 year old in 1945, he was visiting his brother in Nagasaki. Pung Ming Ming and two of his students were arrested after they were discovered with 10,000 flyers. They had secretly printed of a manifesto entitled Declaration of Self-Salvation of the Taiwanese People. In 1968, Pung was able to sneak out of Taiwan and make his way to Hong Kong where he traveled to Stockholm on a forged passport. Once he made it to Sweden, he requested and received political asylum.
