The Great Allure of Doubt

The Buddha spoke very directly to how important it is to bring mindfulness to them. He said, when we attend to the hindrances carolously, they cause lack of vision, lack of knowledge,. tend to vexation and lead away from nibana, from enlightenment. So that's the first step. The second step is then understanding why the doubt is so seductive. Why do we believe it? We begin to see that the great allure of doubt is that it comes masquerading as wisdom. It sounds so reasonable and so valid and so true that we believe what it's saying.
