Faith and Conspiracy: The QAnon Connection

This chapter examines the rise of conspiracy theories, particularly QAnon, within American evangelical communities, especially among Hispanics. It discusses the influence of pastors who blend these theories with religious teachings, as well as the role of social media in spreading misinformation. Additionally, initiatives aimed at combating this misinformation within Spanish-speaking communities are explored, illustrating the ongoing challenges faced in moderating content.
