What's the Point of a Wine Tasting?

Jim Boulden: Let's start with a white wine. On the nose here, there is almost like a green bean aroma. Watercress is kind of a savory note here as well. And it's like canned green beans, like old school back in the day. No evidence of any oak here at all. A little bit of that honey, but again, I don't think there's any butratus. He says based on overall minerality and savory side to this wine, he believes this wine to be from the old world.
