Transformation Through Usability
This chapter highlights a situation where a video of a veteran struggling to use a form was presented to a senior administrator. The form had technical requirements that made it difficult for the average veteran to use. When the change was made to make the form more usable, the number of users increased significantly. Despite resistance from some within the organization, this incident led to a positive transformation and a greater focus on the needs of veterans.
