Agile, I can't see this being a problem, but there have been times when drinking something really cold when I am at, you know, basically race tempo. So then what it may be is either raise the temperature a bit, decrease the volume, decrease the rate at which you take it in. But any of those are legitimate and you're still getting some benefit over having not done it.
