During the low and moderate intensty activity, you have your mouth closed. But there's a point at which you have to open the mouth. We advocate nasal breathing because it noses the organo all of the work. There is a time that you cannot get all that air,. It depends on your boat score, it depends on your fitness, it depending on the size of your nasal arway. So i would say, know your limits and know kind o what's effective for your performance.
