You're not the same person after you've gone through the experience and so you can't forecast onto the agent that you will be on the other side of it because you have no idea what the priorities of that agent will be. My sister went through this: She was terrified she would become someone for whom children were the center. Now that she has a child, I think that she recognizes that it's just this is better than anything that you can get out of a career.
