Is Tai Chi About Observing What's Happening in Your Body?

In 2008, the same year I was starting my doctorate in conducting, the Olympics were held in China and I saw the opening ceremony where there were just hundreds of people practicing Tai Chi as part of the ceremony. And then I kind of forgot about it because I started my doctoral degree. Then I was hospitalized with stress and deuce illness and I was supposed to be like, relaxing. And you were like, no, you need to learn to get in touch with your repressed rage. So I started practicing Tai Chi under those circumstances. It's also about noticing what's happening in your body, which nobody ever told me before.
