The Importance of Genetic Change in Longevity
We don't know that those same mutations in people that extend lifespan in mice are going to extend lifespan in people. In fact, I think there's a reasonable pace to be made that if you made them at least early in life, they might actually be detrimental in humans. So again, it's just important to kind of appreciate where the science is at. There's been a lot of progress, but we're not to the point where anybody can confidently say that somebody born today will live to 150 years old.
