i think for societal stability, there are indeed some strong beliefs t that need to be held strongly. But i also think that most people are way to myopic and close minded, intend to scapegoat the opposite opinion. On average, most people should look to hold like half stronger beliefs that are held more loosely. And if solders have a name, so basy and up dating would be one of them, or baes theorem.
