The Marketing Problem With Sleep
The marketer in me couldn't help but think that sleep really has a marketing problem. Despite the overwhelming evidence that sleep is incredibly beneficial to us, all too many of us don't get enough sleep. We view those who have overslept as lazy and we view those who go for an early night as boring. Many leaders from gurus on social media to world's top politicians publicly celebrate their ability to function on little or no sleep. Funnily enough, there's one example in history where sleep actually got the marketing it desperately needed and it genuinely did change behaviour.
