Learning in the 21st Century

The 21st century was once the distant future. Now that we're 20 odd years into that century, it no longer sounds so futuristic. It's led to some people sort of using it almost as a pejorative sense - like woolly minded stuff. And so clarity about what we're preparing students for in this quote, modern world needs to be part of our thinkingabout what a modern education should provide.
