When the windrush generation came over and Asians from Africa, they all went down the class. Some kind of minimalist things, but also very Afrocentric political culture as part of those front rooms. So rarely did we ever have front room visitors, because my tea total father was relentlessly inhospitable. I don't believe in ghosts, but I believe in what was in that house.
