Dr. Paul Zach is a professor at Claremount Graduate University who's been studying that exact question for over two decades. His lab has come up with a measurement that he believes is a powerful tool to help storytellers and marketers not just measure the effectiveness of their stories, but also improve upon them. He recently released a book on the subject called Immersion, the science of the extraordinary and the source of happiness which I can't wait to discuss with him today.
