How to Originate Deals
Sourcing is something that obviously is important and some people find it quite tricky. Do you have a network of intermediaries or do you kind of look at specific targets and reach out to them directly? How are you going about the other origination? We've had success directly from our own network where we've just reached out and said, hey, to anybody know this type of business that we're looking for. I'm also a really big fan of working with brokers, but not in perhaps the traditional way because my experience in this sort of lower end of the SME market is a lot of the brokers have inflated the price.
