i try to catch myself when i'm speaking in like, absoluta and an hyperbole. I that hyperbolic language, both with others and with ourselves, seldom productive. And so i think your little hack does work right? The very first thing is catching it. Then you can go like, oh, that's a thinking trap. That's just my mind trying to pull me that way. It actually really does help you for the future and set you up a where it comes a little but more naturally the next time.
