Doing Due Diligence on a Technology Purchase or Technology Sale?
A lot of times when it's a technology purchase or technology sale, there's a certain ssativity about exposing the technology or key trade secrets to the other side. What i would say is you can brea the due diligence into two pieces: an initial tec review that'll be kind of at the architectural level and then secondary due diligence later on in the process. The alternative to that on the technology side is pretty straightforward. There are third parties that will do technology reviews and only provide you, the buyer, back a report on what they've seen.
