The Importance of Subscription in Accounting

Hector Garcia calculated that if you take the gross domestic product of the United States and then you divide it by the number of accountants in the country, you get something like $19 million in revenue per accountant. The subscription blows up the silo because now the customer is the center of the business. If a big firm did do subscription, I don't think we might never see it by the way. But if they did, then whatever that customer needed, the firm would just circle the firm or circle the customer and do whatever they needed from whatever area of expertise they needed it from.
