How to Negotiate a Good Deal

A good deal matches these criteria. It's better than your BATNA, which begs the question, what is a BATNA? So think about it as a plan B that you can execute upon regardless of whether or not the other side wants you to do it. You don't want to create a scenario where the deal is so bad for the other side that they're incentivized to get out of the deal. There are definitely some body language indicators we can consider. A good negotiator trusts the process and only focuses on terms during negotiations.
