We fill in the gaps of time where we could be taking a deep breath with something that feels like rest. But it's the opposite of rest because it spins us up and takes us out of ourselves. The quality of sleep from, um, asleep through all of the cycles that you go through are affected by these things. Your body is striving so hard to create this rhythm. And if we are doing things to set ourselves out of that rhythm, you're eroding your health at the foundational level.
