The Importance of Choice in Hidden Allegiance Games

There's the hidden allegiance games where nominally there's a disjunct between factions on the board and the player. And then there is the other kind of situation where you were obliged to engage in violence, whether you want to or not. So it seems to be that choosing your target is less aggressive than in situations where you're not obliged to engaging in violence. If you care about the perpetrator getting away blameless, I think it works fine. But if you care about hurt feelings of the victim, I think in these cases it's worse.
