I didn't really see myself as a person for a long time. Therapy helped me wrap my head around the fact that like, i am a real person. I do matter, i do ex t and now that i have this life and i acknowledge it, i get to choose what i do with it. And feeling that empowerment and level of autonomy around that inspired me to work harder to make my life better.
