The Video Occlusion Method

The video occlusion method was developed in the early 80s in Australia. The technique is used to train tennis players by showing them images of a server's serve from their point of view. Experts can identify type of serve 85% of the time when random chance is 33%, whether it's a kick, a flat, or a topspin, or a slice serve. But non-experts don't get as good at this and so they use other techniques instead.
