In advocating for yourself, I think it really depends on what you are advocating for. And so if we are advocating for ourselves in terms of a salary ask, come with the data. Own what is unique about you, like what is the thing that only you can bring to the table? Because I think that really helps reduce some compare and despair. Marketing is more important than being able to communicate your talents.
