Engaging With the Updates in the Slack Channel

Slack can easily become another quote unquote system of record that nobody is looking at it because it's just filled with noise. We should be pretty conscious about actually interacting with those updates so that the people are putting in the updates know that somebody is reading them. You also need to be selective about what's put into the channel as well. If it's a deal going from negotiation to commitment, that's a pretty important milestone that the company should celebrate.
