The Effects of Paralysis on the Parasympathetic Nervous System
Kerner: He wanted to understand what exactly was causing these symptoms and how. So he collected the sausages that he suspected were involved in the poisonings and he compared their ingredients. The only two commonalities he found were salt, which he believed to be innocent and fat. And so he attempted to isolate this fatty acid or sausage poison from these poison sausages and conduct some experiments to see if he could recreate the symptoms. It's a good like you should use that in school to talk about the effects of the parasympathetic nervous system because he did a really good job of going through them all.
