The only study so far actually comes from Adelaide Leony-Hilburn's group who did look at for one week early time restricted eating or what they call delayed time restricted eating so midday to 8 p.m. For that week they found that it improved glucose area under the curve in response to a oral glucose test similar in both groups. But between the two groups only fasting glucose improved in the earlier condition.
