The Benefits of Blood Flow Restriction and Resistance Exercise

Is blood flow restriction mostly just a tool to increase or decrease the time to failure, and therefore act as a more efficient means to fatigue the various fibres? Yes, i think that's fair to say, with a couple of potential things to consider. Blood flow restriction by itself has shown to have some sort of benefit. Same thing when we have people walk very slowly. In other words, they are not really walking to failure, but there does appear to be some adaptation. It's not close to what you see with resistance exercise,. There's something that's a little bit more there.
