The History of Subsidization
Sally Kohn: Soy bean and corn are really the building blocks of fast food. She says we subsidize these crops because it's easier to subsidize storable commodities than carrots or brockley. When you have too much of something that nobody wants, you'll figure out how to trick it into a form where people will eve buy it., she writes. "Over production breeds ingenuity also."
